Gorenje is a major appliance manufacture found in 1950 Slovenia, the forth largest home appliances manufacture in Europe. Founded by Ivan Atelšek.

Gorenje expanded through 1950s and was present in about 90 countries in Europe.

In 1958 Gorenje produced all solid fuel cookers and 1965 the company started producing washing machines their first model was PS 270 and later in 1969 the production of refrigerators was launched.

During the 1970s, the product range of Gorenje was expanded to kitchen units, ceramics, medical equipment, telecommunications devices, TV sets, and other electrical goods then in the 1980s Gorenje narrowed its focus to domestic appliances. And launched a new line of products in 1987.

and in 1990 Haider Murad Investment Group became the exclusive distributer of Gorenje in Joradan.

In 2000, the first appliances collection designed by the Italian design studio Pininfarina was launched.

 In 2004, a new laundry range was launched featuring a model (WA65205) with a touchscreen control panel, electric door opener, electric detergent drawer, and the first washing machine with, as of 2021 still has the world’s fastest spin speed of 2000 RPM.

Throughout the years Gorenje has collaborated with world class designer to launch their unique appliances with significant designs which made their range set harmonious and beautifully put. Such as Oraito and Starck.

Their designs are all implemented on each appliance to give a fascinating view of your kitchen, as they combine technology, quality and energy efficiency.
